Discounted lodging is available at The Hotel Ithaca located in the heart of downtown, adjacent to the Ithaca Commons with an array of eclectic shopping and dining from around the world, and less than 1 mile from both Cornell University and Ithaca College. The hotel offers an indoor heated pool, a large state-of-the-art fitness center, and complimentary shuttle service to Tompkins International Airport, Cornell University and Ithaca College (subject to availability).

The workshop will be conducted The Hotel Ithaca. For air travel, Ithaca is served by Delta and United Airlines through the Ithaca Tompkins International Airport. Since the pandemic, air service to this community has been significantly impacted with fewer flights at higher costs.  If air travel to Ithaca poses an impediment to attend the workshop, individuals should give serious consideration to Syracuse Hancock International airport.  This airport has far more airline and flight options at much less cost. Shuttle service as well as Lyft and Uber are available directly to The Hotel Ithaca. The shuttle service is provided by Auburn Transportation Group, and takes 1.5 hours. They have 8 scheduled daily runs each way between Syracuse and The Hotel Ithaca. Reservations are required and must be made at least 48 hours in advance by phone at 315-730-5931 ext 2.  Hours (EST) are 10 am - 6 pm M-Sat, and 10 am- 5 pm Sun. Cost is $141.75 each way.​

Ithaca is a picturesque college town in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region in upstate New York.  About one hour's drive south of Syracuse, it is located at the southern end of Cayuga Lake and surrounded by three beautiful state parks, each with gorges, waterfalls, and hiking trails. Downtown Ithaca Commons is a four-block pedestrian shopping area with over 100 unique shops, art galleries, restaurants, street vendors & street entertainers. Enjoy outdoor recreation including a hike out to one of the many Ithaca waterfalls or visit the campuses at Cornell University and Ithaca College.
